Rule Of Third: Poster Analysis

Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix:

- Everyone's heads are on the same line on the grid which suggests their importance and brings the focus of the image to their faces as they're in the top third and then split in the two outer thirds.

- The focus on the side thirds of the heads being on the line results in an even bigger focus in the middle which is Harry Potter the main protagonist of the film. Therefore completely isolating Harry Potter from the rest of the characters by placing him in his own third on the poster.

- The text of the film "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" is placed on the bottom line of the grid to give it emphasis. Further emphasis is evident as the 'H' and 'r' from 'Harry Potter' is placed each at an intersect to emphasise the title and at the bottom in its own third.
